Safari travel (wallpapers): A safari (from Swahili word meaning a long journey) is an overland journey (especially in Africa). Nowadays, it's often used to describe tours through African national parks to watch or hunt wildlife. Entering the English language in the late 19th century, the word safari means 'journey' in Swahili language. Originally from the Arabic سفر (safara) meaning travel To travel in swahili is to "safiri" but when you are on a journey the swahili word is "safari".[2] Most people still believe that a true safari can only be in East Africa that is Kenya and Tanzania and not in Africa as a whole. That is to say that if you where in South Africa doing some big game watching, you wouldn't be on safari even though the word is broadly used, because the word safari comes from the swahili speaking people who can be found along the swahili coast. Today the word is used generally to mean anything from big game viewing, photography or even game hunting. Actually, the word is a French term meaning "to travel."[br]
