Gulfstream Aerospace G500/G550 aircraft, photo wallpapers: The Gulfstream G500 (Gulfstream V) is a private jet aircraft produced by Gulfstream Aerospace, Savannah, Georgia, USA, a General Dynamics company. [br]Gulfstream V: The Gulfstream V (also referred to as the G5) originally flew in 1995, was certified in 1997, and was one of the first "ultra-long range" (~6000 nautical miles) business aircraft. Capable of carrying up to 16 people in standard seating configurations, and able to fly up to 6,500 nautical miles, the GV became the longest range business jet ever made at the time of its introduction. [br]G500 [br]The G500 is a shorter range version of the G550, also introduced in 2003. It has the same exterior appearance, as well as the Planeview cockpit, but does not have EVS as standard equipment, although it is available as an option. It also has less capability to carry fuel, reducing its range to 5,800 nautical miles. It has a list price of $38 million. The Gulfstream 550 competes against the Airbus Corporate Jet, Boeing Business Jet, and the Bombardier Global Express.
