Miss World 2007 - photo wallpapers: On [br]Monday, November 19, Miss Belize World Felicita Arzu, was selected [br]along with 19 other Miss World delegates to record the official song [br]for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Torch Relay. The song “Light the Passion, [br]Share the Dream” was written by renowned musician, Chris Babida and was [br]recorded in a studio in Beijing, China. All 106 delegates later filmed [br]a video for the song, which will be aired on China’s MTV. Felicita and [br]the Miss World delegates were among the first international group to [br]visit the Olympic stadium where the 2008 games will be held. Felicita [br]continues to represent Belize well in China. Her eloquence, confidence [br]and bright smile has captured the attention of many of the media houses [br]there. She has travelled to Sanya, Haikou, Tianjin, and has just [br]returned from Beijing, where she visited the Great Wall of China. She [br]performed a traditional Garifuna dance at a Red Cross Charity event, [br]where the delegates helped to raise US$5.5 million dollars. The funds [br]will go toward building a children’s hospital and other health centers [br]in China.[br]Felicita competed in the talent preliminary competition [br]and made the top 20. Although she didn’t win the finals, she is very [br]competitive and continues to get much attention as a contender in one [br]of the remaining spots for the final night. She and the other Miss [br]World delegates are rehearsing intensely for the final show, which will [br]be held this Saturday, December 1, live on Star World. The eyes of the [br]world will be on the Miss World stage as this year’s pageant promises [br]to be the biggest ever, especially considering that it will be held on [br]World Aids Day. The Miss World pageant is considered to be the largest, [br]with an estimated 2.2 billion viewers and over a hundred contestants [br]each year. [br]
