Air One; Airline; Megawallpapers: Air One S.p.A. is an independent airline based in Rome, Italy. It operates a high-frequency domestic scheduled network to 36 destinations in Italy, Europe and North America. 2007 revenues totaled EUR750 million ($1,032 million USD)with a net profit of EUR6.8 million ($9.4 million USD). Regional destinations are served under the name Air One CityLiner with the brand new fleet of Bombardier CRJ-900's.
Its main bases are Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport in Rome, Linate Airport in Milan and Turin International Airport, all equipped with a dedicated Air One Lounge named Sala Welcome. As of the 11th of December 2008, Air One will be part of Compagnia Aerea Italiana (CAI), which will eventually take over Alitalia and Air One as one whole company.
Even though the official airline name is pronounced in the English way, "Airone" in Italian means heron, which is the company logo.

Airline Partners
In the year 2000 Air One established a
strong commercial and technical partnership with Lufthansa, the leader
of Star Alliance, the world’s most important alliance between airlines.
Based on the mentioned agreement, the
two carriers expand their network and strengthen their presence in
Italy and Greece by offering a wider range of options to their
passengers.
The code sharing agreement lets Air
One’s customers fly to Riga and Vilnius from Rome Fiumicino and Milan
Malpensa and to Riga from Venice earning points in the frame of the
EuroBonus frequent flyer program.
The agreement signed by Air One and Air
Malta gives the possibility to use the connections between Rome
Fiumicino, Milan Malpensa, Bologna and Malta international Airport and
between Rome Fiumicino and Reggio Calabria operated by Air Malta.
