Alanya Resort, Turkish - photo wallpapers: The resort of Alanya is the furthest east that any British tour operater provides package holidays. It is a large, lively bustling resort during the summer months with plenty to do and see. During winter months the resort is still open however it is much more low key.
Alanya is reaped in history and was given to Vleopatra by Mark Anhony in 44BC and the first beach still bears her name. Alanya is home to two long sandy beaches, vast caves and some breathtaking views from Seljuk castle, the castle can be seen from Alanya Harbour. For those who enjoy haggling and beartring, head down to the harbor area were you will find the famous bazaar which is a tangle of narrow streets crammed with colouful shops, there, you can shop till you drop and pick up lots of lovely souvenirs. If you enjoying dining out then there is an abundance of restaurants to choose from see map for the highly recommended restaurants and for those feeling a little home sick Alanya is also home to the world wide famous McDonalds and Burger King.
